The Last 3 Months

Once again, I have done something that I said I wouldn’t do… take time off this blog. It’s been about 3 months since I have last even looked at my blog, and a lot has happened in that time. I have completed one semester of senior year…yikes. My final basketball season has started, which consumes all of my time. I was also accepted into my DREAM college, Texas Christian University… GO FROGS!!

While all these great things have happened, there have also been somethings that haven’t been so exciting… Now that I’m accepted into college, applying for scholarships may be death of me. I am now in Christmas Break, which is the first time that it has sunk in that high school is almost done. I have also stopped my 6 month journey in Jesus Calling, which has been my biggest disappointment. I stopped it for no other reason than I got busy and forgot about it. It is something that I need to pick up again.

It is the season of giving, community, and resolutions and I have never been a big fan of New Years Resolutions. One of the greatest things that I have learned in during my life to not disappoint myself is to make a realistic goal. While my goal is to write on this blog everyday and continue to share my life on this… I know that it is not something I can manage at this point in my life. A resolution is something you want and more importantly CAN achieve. I love challenging myself, but there’s a difference in challenging yourself and setting yourself up for failure.

I can not wait for the things that are going to happen in my life in the next couple of months. It is going to be an exciting year and I’m so excited that I can share it with everyone.

Thank you to the people who have kept up with my blog. It means the world.
