our summer quest
So… technically my summer begins with college orientation. However, I decided not to blog about it right now because it was honestly just information overload and is something that I would not consider particularly “fun” to read about!!
So, we begin with turks & Caicos
This was our third time on our family vacation to this destination and it was just as fun as the first time. It is honestly one of the only vacations that we have ever been on where you feel totally relaxed the whole time and don’t have to worry about getting food for your room and the typical things you do when you go to the beach!
if you would like the 3 minute quick version of this trip, just watch the video below
I saved up a pretty penny to buy myself a Go Pro and I was really excited for this vacation because it was the first time that I was able to use it to film really cool things.. (hints the video) But this vacation was really special to me because it was kind of my last hoorah with the family before I leave for college.
My siblings and I have bonded in more ways than I ever thought imaginable this summer and this trip really set the tone for the rest of the summer. Family vacations have been something that we always do and I honestly think it is really important. Some of our greatest memories and closest moments together have been on vacation, it is really a special thing.
the actual vacation
We spent one week at the Beaches Resort in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. It is honestly the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It has the whitest sand and the bluest water I have ever seen. It is truly beautiful!! I just really recommend this trip to anyone who just really wants to get away!
But honestly, that is really all I have to say about this trip. It was just an awesome time to spend with the family before I leave.
But tomorrow is my ABSOLUTE favorite trip of the entire summer…..
